Born in England, Trudie Tara Moulton left a career in finance and Silicon Valley to become an artist and healer. Known for her vibrant, spirit-led abstract paintings, Trudie’s work channels the light of the soul and the healing frequency of colour.
As a creativity catalyst and mentor, she helps leaders and creatives to connect with their own inner brilliance - not by copying others, but by remembering the truth of who they are.
The real journey is the one you take inward.
Trudie meets you where you are - and reflects back what you haven’t yet been able to see for yourself.

Unlike anywhere else, Ometepe is a special place — an island made up of two volcanoes — floating in Central America’s largest lake, Lake Nicaragua.

Although there is a runway on Ometepe, the island can only be reached by ferry from the mainland town of Rivas.
Ferries leave every hour or half hour and the crossing takes just over an hour from San Jorge port to Moyogalpa.
From Managua, capital of Nicaragua:
Fly in to Managua airport and taxi to Rivas ferry terminal (approx 2 hrs 30 mins).
From Costa Rica:
Fly in to Liberia Airport and take a taxi to the Costa Rica/Nicaraguan border of Penas Blancas.
The border crossing takes approx 1.5 hours and we can arrange for someone to accompany you during the crossing.
Rivas is 45 minutes by taxi from the Costa Rica/Nicaragua border of Penas Blancas.
We can assist you with your border crossing and taxi to Rivas.

The local currency is Nicaraguan Cordobas, but US Dollars are widely accepted (though you will be given change in Cordobas).

Yes there is good wifi in the main lodge and network coverage is available elsewhere on the property.

Popoyo - kick back in a beachfront guest house on the Pacific Coast only 45 mins from Penas Blancas border
Granada - explore the historic city of Granada with its colonial architecture, good restaurants, and stunning churches.
Laguna de Apoyo - a volcanic crater lake with pure water, abundant wildlife with Lagoon Natural Reserve status. A good place to cool off from the heat of Granada as it’s only 30 mins away (though we still prefer Ometepe ;-))
