your creative space: Light, spacious & inspiring

what people say…

  • A Co-Creation with Spirit

“It's such an honour to come and do this with you, Trudie, because you hold a very beautiful container. And working with the spirit of Nature is also a container. I think we're all surprised how deep it felt, and how deep it went into the whole creator's process of calling on the Muse, and how our offering opened up a completely new relationship with primordial creativity. That was really something. And that's what we were asking ourselves to do: Can you let go enough to allow a union, a co-creation with the Creative Spirit itself? And really, what results we've had! What awakenings in our hearts, in our whole beings, and also in on our canvas. I've been very touched. And it’s been so much fun. I mean, what a joy! What a journey —really, it has been a journey. Thank you so very much.

    — Lulu, Somerset

  • This may be the missing link

"That sentence is going to be a bit of a game changer for me. This may be is the missing link of me creating the paintings that move me!”

—Sam Broughton, Artist and tutor, Devon, UK

  • Opening to new possibilities

“I came because I was bored with the way that I was making my own art. I needed just a little bit of a nudge in a new direction. And what I'm leaving with is I'm more excited again. I use that word excitement. There have been things here that I didn't expect to do. There have been definitely things that have taken me outside the realm of what is relevant in the day to day with my life —and I love how that opens us up to new possibilities.

So I think if you're interested, if you're curious about that mix, I don't think there's anything else actually that's doing this at the moment.”

—Alice Sheridan, Artist and Founder of Connected Artist Club

  • Expansive

“The journey that we've been on through in just a few days, through producing art, through a kind of unleashing and recognising and listening to the creative spirit in us and onto the paint board has brought up so much stuff in life. There’s a realisation of things that I'm going to bring into play in my life.

One AHA moment was that to move forward in life doesn't necessarily mean moving forward in a linear way. It's more of an expansive way - but the expansion doesn't have to be bigger. It can be richer and deeper, and actually what already is, but just much richer, like a richer colour.”

    —Kathy, Leicester

  • A Rich Experience

“Wow, amazing!  Every day has been completely full and overflowing with practical work on our canvases, from the moment we wake up and go into the studio space. The food has been absolutely delicious, beautifully prepared with loads of nutritious and colourful and delicious ingredients. The accommodation is fabulous —it's warm, it's comfortable. There's everything we need. And the spirit, the creative spirit side, has been… it's almost indescribable, because it's there aren't really words for it.  I have been touched very deeply, and I'm looking forward to engaging with that more as I perceive as my art, with my life. I have had such a rich experience that there's no way that I won't continue that when I leave.”

    —Nikki, Devon

  • I feel rejuvenated around my art practice

“I feel inspired and excited. I feel rejuvenated around my art practice. I must honour my own intuition, stop over-ruling the heart with the rational mind.”

    — Lynn Hanford Day, Coach, Therapist and Artist, UK

  • Anything is possible now!

“I feel anything is possible now! I can see a way of using my doodles and images to develop paintings. I’m not entirely sure how yet, apart from just doing it and discovering, ‘that’s not it’ while trusting my instinct on what I do want.”

    – Hilde, UK

  • Amazing. Love it!

“It’s very unusual to be in someone else’s working space. And I think that's quite interesting to bounce off. There have been things here that I didn't expect to do - things that have taken me outside the realm of what is relevant in my day-to-day life. And I love how that opens us up to new possibilities. I’m leaving with excitement. I’m going to take back practical stuff in the studio for sure. Amazing. Love it!”

—Alice Sheridan, Artist, founder Art Juice Podcast & Connected Artist Club

  • Trudie's joy is truly inspiring

“Trudie’s obvious joy in her vocation, love of colour and the spiritual practice of painting is truly inspiring, and will resonate with the hearts of artists and creatives, and indeed anyone who’s felt an artistic calling.”

    — Catherine Strong, journalist, ArtSPEAK

  • It's like you can see my potential

“When you’re trying to work through your own things, you’ve got these blinkers of fear and lack that really limit what you think you’re capable of doing and achieving…. It’s like you can see my potential whereas I can only see a few steps ahead of me…. It’s so creative and it’s so fun!”

    — Antonia, UK

  • this combination is Essential

“I think for artists, this combination of working from your Creative Muse, or your Soul or your Spirit or your intuition, is such an essential part of making art — and making art YOUR way.”

—Alice Sheridan, Artist and Founder of Connected Artist Club, Art Juice Podcast

  • Joyful and energising

“These joyful and energising paintings by Trudie Tara Moulton are like little jewels bursting with colour.”

    —Jessica Lloyd Smith, Art Consultant

  • Now I see my creative roadblocks

“Trudie has really helped me to see what my creative roadblocks are. Her enthusiasm and empathy are contagious and she is very inspiring.”

    —Sasha Yates, singer-songwriter

  • I feel reactivated in my creativity

“I wanted to find out what the 18 year old inside me (who never went to art college) needs at this point of my life. Trudie enabled me not to feel scared of the unknown - and not to fear but to trust the process. I feel reactivated in my creativity. Very juicy!”

    —Julie, UK

  • Expect the unexpected

Trudie’s course is like no other. Get to truly know yourself —heal from the inside out and have fun in the process. Expect the unexpected.”

meet your host:

Trudie Tara Moulton

Artist. Healer. Former Silicon Valley exec.

I wasn’t always an artist. I started my career in the high-stakes world of London finance and Silicon Valley tech. My days were full—and yet, something essential was missing. I tried to fill the void with designer clothes, parties, and a life that looked good on the outside. But inside, I felt disconnected. Unexpressed.

I didn’t have an art degree. But I had a deep longing to create—and a knowing that the art I was looking for didn’t exist. Because I hadn’t painted it —yet.

With an artist mother, a palette inspired by California’s light and space, and a wooden studio shed in Topanga Canyon, I began painting what I couldn’t find anywhere else: colour-drenched joy. Emotional honesty. Liberation on canvas.

Through years of exploration, I discovered that your creative voice doesn’t come from technique—it comes from within. It’s already in you, waiting for permission to rise.

Today, my work hangs in private collections and corporate spaces, has graced magazine covers, and continues to evolve as I do. But the real masterpiece? It’s the inner transformation that results from making art —an Artist’s Journey that surprises and delights the women I work with.

EMMA BOHADANA

Wise woman, singer-songwriter, contemporary dancer and vessel for Divine Truth, Emma is a trained Kundalini yoga teacher and space-holder with over 25 years experience leading transformational embodiment workshops for women. She has 5 children and a deep love for others.

Emma will be supporting our ceremonies and creative openings and leading daily breath work sessions.

Lulu Urquhart

Earth-acupuncturist, geomancer, herbalist, plants-person and award-winning landscape designer, Lulu connects with subtle earth energies and ecology for re-establishing healthy biomes. She is passionate about working alongside Nature to develop a reciprocal and balanced relationship between ourselves and our wildlife, plants and planet.

Lulu will be leading a ceremony to help us connect with our original Muse - Nature herself.

I created Creative Spirit because I believe every woman has a wellspring of creativity within her.

She just needs the right space, support, and practices to remember who she truly is—and create from that place.

I’ll be your guide, your witness, and your creative midwife. This retreat is your space to come home to yourself.

A woman with blonde hair standing against a white wall with green vines, wearing a pink dress, a long beaded necklace, and a light gray shawl.

That’s what Creative Spirit is:

a sacred space where you awaken your inner artist, heal what’s in the way, and create art that reflects your soul.

You don’t Need to Learn More. You Need to Remember What’s Already Inside.

A woman with shoulder-length brown hair, wearing a pink t-shirt and a black apron covered in paint splatters, stands barefoot in front of a large colorful abstract painting on a wall. She is smiling and holding a palette knife.

I took the courses. I practiced the techniques. I learned the brushwork, the theory, the formulas.

But no matter how many skills I gained, I still found myself making art that looked like someone else’s. It never felt like mine.

What no one told me was this:

Your true creative voice isn’t found in a textbook. It’s found inside you.

No one taught me how to clear the inner noise. How to make space for the quiet whisper of the Muse. How to release the patterns that keep us imitating instead of creating.

But that’s exactly what we do in Creative Spirit.

Through movement, meditation, and Divine Healing, we turn inward—to clear the vessel, reconnect with your soul, and invite the life-force of creativity to move through you. You become a channel. Not a technician.

You’ll learn to paint from the inside out—expressing art that’s true, alive, and uniquely yours.

And with The Artist’s Journey as your guide, you’ll come to:

  • Recognize the stages of the creative process

  • Navigate the dips and doubts without giving up or playing small

  • Deepen your intuition and learn to trust your inner compass

  • Set intentions that invite Divine Co-Creation

  • Discover hidden gifts you didn’t know were waiting

Your investment includes:

  • 5 days of painting tuition with Trudie in her studio

  • Daily studio time + space to explore the Cornish coast (and swim in the sea)

  • Daily movement, colour meditations and breathwork

  • 6 nights luxury accommodation in boutique holiday cottages designed for comfort with luxury mattresses, hot shower / bath, log-burning fire, hot tub.

This isn’t just about art.

It’s about how you meet yourself through the process.

So many women come to this path thinking they’re here to “get better” at painting. But what they discover is something much deeper:

They wake up.
They return to their body.
They stop performing and start creating.
They become the version of themselves they were always meant to be.

Art is just the vehicle.

The real work?
Igniting the light within - and letting it guide the way.

join CREATIVE SPIRIT

This isn’t about technique.

This is about coming home to the truth of your creative self.

You’ll leave with more than artwork.

You’ll leave with freedom. Confidence. Joy.

And a renewed sense of who you truly are.

This takes you to a form to confirm a few details, and I’ll be in touch!
